Arnold Sagonda is a seasoned legal professional with over nine years of experience in banking and finance, project finance, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and international tax structuring. He holds an LLB and a Master’s in Law (Commercial Law) from the University of Cape Town (UCT), complemented by Postgraduate Certificates in Banking & Financial Markets Law (Wits University) and International Tax Law (UCT). Additionally, he has completed a Certificate in Basics of Financial Management (UCT), further strengthening his expertise in financial and commercial legal matters.

Arnold’s career spans top-tier national and international law firms, including Bell Dewar, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP (a global firm), and Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs (Africa’s largest law firm). Before entering private practice, he served as a Parliamentary Researcher at the Institute for Democracy in Southern Africa (IDASA), where he gained valuable insights into governance and policy frameworks.
